Swansea's fabulous ice skating attraction is open from 18 November 2011 - 8 January 2012 and tickets are on sale now. New for this year are later sessions on New Year's Eve which will sell out fast, so make sure you don't miss out.
Rocky's children's rink returns to Swansea's winter wonderland this year - ideal for children to learn to skate before they move onto the main Admiral rink.
The Miles Hire Giant Wheel is back too for some great views of Swansea, and of course Father Christmas will be in Santa's grotto to welcome the children. See you there!
The weather forecast is lovely for the weekend, so don't miss your last chance to go ice skating at Swansea's Waterfont Winterland which closes after Sunday 9 January.
The rink is open from 10am - 10pm on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 January, with the last skating session at 9pm each day.

A penguin family has moved onto Swansea’s Waterfront Winterland ice rink. Don't worry, not a real penguin family. They are stabilizers which will help young children to ice skate.
This does sound like great fun, but unfortunately these are only for young children. If this does sound like your cup of tea, then you can book your tickets online.

Ice skating tickets are available online as well as in person at the skatehouse at Waterfront Winterland or from Swansea TIC (opposite the bus station works in Plymouth St).

Sarah will be dancing on the main Admiral rink at 6.45 to All That Jazz.
The countdown to Christmas officially starts this Sunday, as Father Christmas himself will be joining many decorated floats for the Christmas parade and lights switch on.

There are plenty of events and activities to look forward to this week in Swansea. Wednesday 17th December sees the start of this years Christmas Pantomime, Cinderella, in the Grand Theatre.
The fantastic "Messiah" featuring Morriston Tabernacle Choir will be in the Brangwyn Hall on Saturday 20th December.
You can still book Ice Skating, and take your children to see Santa at his grotto at Waterfront Winterland, while The Wave and Swansea Sound will be broadcasting a live show at the Winterland this Wednesday (17th).

It's back! The grounds of the National Waterfront Museum will once again be transformed into a children's paradise from 22nd November - , with the return of Waterfront Winterland. The Admiral Giant Wheel returns as the star of the show, and will be joined in the funfair by a traditional funfair carousel, a 'snowstorm' ride and, of course, Santa's Grotto.
After proving hugely popular last year, the ice skating Rink will be returning to Waterfront Winterland, where the Opening times have now been confirmed.
