There's a Valentine theme to Swansea City Centre tomorrow 12 February 2012, when there'll be live entertainment and a Mr + Mrs competition from 10.30am - 2.00pm.
There'll be special offers from shops and you can visit The Wave trailer in Lower Oxford St (near Derrick's Records) for a voucher to get a free heart-shaped Welsh cake from Swansea Market.
On Valentine's Day itself, get a message to your loved one shown on the Big Screen in Castle Square.

6 Nations rugby returns to Swansea’s Big Screen this weekend with England taking on Italy in Rome on Saturday, kicking off at 4pm.
And following a nail biting win over Ireland last Sunday, Wales are hoping to make it two out of two at home to Scotland on 12 February. Catch all the action in Castle Square from 3pm.
The only game not to feature on the screen is France v Ireland on 11 February, but every other game will be shown including all Wales rugby games. Cymru am byth!

If you enjoyed Wales' efforts in the Rugby World Cup you will probably be eagerly awaiting this year's RBS 6 Nations.
The tournament kicks off on 4 February and you can watch all the action on Swansea's Big Screen in Castle Square.
The screen will be showing all Wales’ matches live along with all the other games except France v Ireland.

There's loads going on in Swansea city centre this Saturday (19 November 2011), with a Red and White theme to reflect the Swans game v's Man U on the same day.
Activities will be taking place from 10.00am - 4.00pm in various locations, including street entertainment, reindeer, live music, give-aways and more to celebrate Christmas launch party day in the city centre.

Road closures will be in place for Friday night's Sparks in the Dark firework display from 4.00pm until 9.00pm - see the full details on the fireworks page.
The entertainment starts at 6.00pm with The Wave and Swansea Sound plus Mal Pope's Cappuccino Girls. Charlie Simpson will be singing on stage at 7.00pm, and the fabulous firework display commences at 7.30pm.
Advance ticket prices are available until midnight tonight (Thursday 3 Nov) - that's a £5 discount from the on-the-gate price for a family ticket!

Former Busted and Fightstar front man, Charlie Simpson will be taking to the stage this Friday (4 November) at Swansea’s fireworks display.
Charlie, best known for playing lead guitar for pop band Busted, will be performing a number of songs from his debut solo album, Young Pilgrim.
The display is in St Helen’s Rugby Ground and entertainment on stage with The Wave and Swansea Sound starts at 6.00pm with fireworks set to music at 7.30pm.
You can save money by pre-booking your fireworks tickets in advance with a family ticket, available for just £15 for two adults and up to three children.

Professional continental market traders from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland, Poland wearing traditional costumes will be selling high quality products including Brittany biscuits, olives, Italian nougat, pungent cheeses, saucissons, tartiflette from the Alps, charcuterie, fresh breads, croissants and much, much more! Or, for those of you with a sweet tooth, there will also be freshly cooked crepes.
There will also be products other than food and drink, including hand bags, soaps and children's toys.

Mal Pope's musical is about friendship and is set in a cafe, and the theatre is an actual cafe-bar in Swansea Urban Village (the new development in High Street).
You can be served a drink by the actors before the show so it feels that you're part of the set.

It's going to be a very busy month in Swansea if you are interested the cultural side. Swansea Museum have the Isle of Wight Festival Exhibition, along with the Home Textile Exhibition and the Local History book Fair.
The National Waterfront Museum will be hosting 'Tarnished Earth: an exhibition of devastating power' which tells the story of one of the world's biggest ecological disasters.
For fans of legendary poet, Dylan Thomas, the Dylan Thomas Festival returns for the 14th year which features the talents of Sarah Waters, Simon Armitage and Pete Brown, amongst others.
Before the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery closes on 30 October, there will be a series of free workshops, free art events and live bands. While there are also expert workshops taking place at the West Glamorgan Archives.

You can now experience the majesty of the 1970 Isle of Wight Music Festival, synonymous with performances from music legends Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Jethro Tull.
All through the lens of stills photographer, BBC newsreel cameraman and film director Charles Everest who immortalised the festival in a series of evocative photographs.
This stunning festival is running at Swansea Museum until 31 December.
