The sea and Swansea’s residents’ relationship with it will provide the starting point to a new art project by artist, Jennie Savage, commissioned by Locws International as part of Swansea Festival of Music and the Arts.
Jennie would like to meet people who have a daily connection with the sea and create a ‘Soundtrack to the Sea’ said Grace Davies, Project Manager. The resulting work will be open to the public throughout the festival in October in a specially designed booth to be located on the Swansea seafront between the Civic Centre and the beach.
So, if you have a daily connection with the sea, i.e. walk your dog, surf, sail, swim or run (on the beach), then Jennie would like to speak to you, as she is looking for volunteers to take part in a 20 minute interview exercise.
