The New Swansea Central Library has entered its final phase towards opening in March. The first batch of books for public use have arrived on site and more books, DVDs and CDs will continue to arrive over the next few weeks, as the Library is stocked ready for its opening.

The "Titanic Honour and Glory" exhibition in Swansea Museum has been hailed as one of Britain's best, by London Times newspaper. The exhibition, which will run until March 2nd, depicts the story and tragedy of the giant vessel that sank in April 1912.
It features rare and authentic treasures from the ship, plus items from the Oscar winning movie featuring Leonardo DiCaprio adn Kate Winslet.

If you have children under the age of 5, then you are invited to join us at various Swansea libraries' FREE Bookcrawl events. They will be taking place between Monday 28th January - Friday 1st February, and your children will be able to enjoy story-times with some well known authors.

Help is at hand for women in Swansea in the form of the Women's Running Network (WRN). The WRN is suitable for all types of runners, from total beginners to the more experienced and they have qualified coaches on hand to help you.
They're a friendly bunch that think that running as part of a group is far more fun than struggling to start on your own and we think they are right!
